March–June 2026 Contract Awards Summary

SHPHE's March–June 2026 contract awards span chemical materials, alumina production, carbon fiber and offshore engineering. The projects illustrate why large industrial sites often need a portfolio of plate heat exchangers rather than a single exchanger type for every duty.

These entries describe contract awards reported by SHPHE. An award is a different milestone from shipment, commissioning or demonstrated operating performance.

Why the product mix changes from one process to another

In battery-material and chemical complexes, hot gas heat recovery, liquid cooling and solids-bearing slurry service impose different design constraints. The same distinction appears within an alumina project, where utility-water duties and precipitation-slurry duties should be specified separately.

From a project award to an equipment schedule

A useful equipment schedule assigns a tag and process role to every heat exchanger. Each tag should have its own normal and design conditions, material requirements, pressure-drop allowance and maintenance constraints. Plant production capacity, such as tonnes per year, gives project context but does not by itself size an individual exchanger.

For large-area units, engineering should also review transport dimensions, lifting weight, foundation or skid loads and the space needed to open the equipment. These requirements can affect the final configuration before fabrication begins.

Discuss a multi-duty project

Send the heat-exchanger list and available process datasheets rather than only a total plant capacity. SHPHE can review the interfaces between gas recovery, process cooling and utility systems and identify which product families warrant a detailed thermal and mechanical assessment.
